JOURNAL

Welcome, Baby Rose

This is why I love documentary photography. It’s not only a visual journal for families, but it’s also a way of preserving all the emotions that come with it – even the ones found in the most vulnerable of moments. And to that, I’m incredibly thankful to be capturing this precious time as they welcome […]

Baby Kase

I’m so grateful to have not only captured those first tender days of Baby Kase, but of his older brother too. They were both born into a family full of warmth, love, and laughter.

Maternity

Waiting

I know. It’s been a while since I’ve blogged. Fact is that it’s been baby gaga over here. But if anything is going to take me out from under this comfy, social-media-averting rock, it’s gonna be this gorgeous maternity shoot. It takes me back many moons ago when I was expecting my first child. I […]

Favorite Moments of 2017

I am so moved by the honesty and heart of the families that have come my way. Words seem to fall short for how grateful I am to not just be doing what I love, but to be capturing love as well. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we even got pooped on. Here are my few […]

Baker Beach

Two back-to-back family photo sessions. I’m thoroughly soaked with sand everywhere. I would say that’s a mark of a morning well spent, and I’m still smiling from it.

Live Ardently

My vision as a family photographer is to celebrate what it means to be a family. By that, I mean really embracing all aspects of it for better or worse and artfully documenting it. This is why newborn sessions are my favorite. Thanks to the likes of sleep deprivation, they’re honest and humbling, yet still […]

Sunset with the At-At Walkers

Have a pre-teen who loves Star Wars AND boats? No problem. Living in the Bay Area certainly has its advantages. Our photo session aligned perfectly with a large ship unloading its cargo onto the dock. We had such a fun time exploring the shoreline. And the gorgeous sunset was the chef’s kiss.

Sunday Morning with the M Family – Home Session, San Francisco

Homemade french toast, Moana songs, an impromptu CrossFit workout, a head collision on the bed, deep breaths, more Moana, sidesplitting laughter, and of course that itty bitty baby with the biggest brown eyes. Love is definitely overflowing here and I can’t imagine a better family to welcome me back into the swing of things. Thank […]

Mom

My Mom. So beautiful, so courageous, so stubborn, so strong. She was brave for all of us. I wish that you had known her. I wish that I have known her better. This photograph is my favorite of us and one that I am thankful to have for it was a race against the clock […]

Sunset at Crab Cove

It’s true. I gotta thing for beaches. It’s kinda a prerequisite for living on an island. Luckily, this family loves them as much as I do. It’s their happy place second to Argentina and I’m grateful to capture it for them. Why, I can’t think of a lovelier family to spend a magical, mud-filled sunset. […]
